Cause & Effect

I'm stunned...

Things have been rocky between my dad & me. I have a disease that is genetic. It caused a huge rift between my dad's dad & me because I wouldn't hide it or deny having it. I long suspected that my dad had it. But he wouldn't confirm it nor deny it.

Well. for some reason fate intervined and I had to ask some medical questions. I couldn't put it off any longer. I took the cowards way out and emailed my dad. I figured he'd deny it, delete the message and not answer it, as has been the usual pattern.

I was stunned to see a reply back from him. Not only did the reply contain an honest & truthful answer but something I wasn't expecting. Confirmation of what I suspected years ago. He has it as does his mom.

That puts the pattern of cause & effect as being girl, boy, girl, boy. I know have the proof positive that my son's condition is because of me and that I got it from my dad.

This should make those in the family happy as they can continue to cling to their pure blood mentality when it comes to the issues me & my son have.
