I'm guilty of being a softy. I know a lady who's really struggling to make ends meet. Though we've never met in person, we have chatted quite a bit. She's been a fountain of knowledge on how to do certain things with our normal home based businesses that my aunt & I are already involved in.
So what's that got to do with keeping busy??? Everything...
See I listened and agreed to help out this kind struggling soul. Which means that we've been talked into doing a few more home based businesses. LOL My poor little brain is spinning from information overload. And it's being stretched to the max with attempting to do many new things that it's not had to do since it got out of school many, many years ago. lol
So far I'm learning about Critter items, wrapping items, candles, angel cards, gourmet mixes, teas, scents, and who knows what else I will be educated in before JD gets done with me. (Yes, that's an actual person's name and no it's got nothing to do with a used to be favorite drink. Geesh... Get your mind out of the past)
Now if this isn't enough... I've another dear friend who's been a mentor, cheerleader, confidante, and all around good egg. She too has come upon a winning situation and needed help. Yep, that's right I agreed to help her out too. So now I'm learning about the mall. At least it doesn't seem too complicated at this time and yet there is some definite learning that is needed to be done as well. I just need to remember that instead of asking people to get me stuff when they're out and about that I get it from the mall.
I guess I should really try to remember to learn a good lesson from these two incidents. Like keeping my mouth shut. Why did I say I was board with nothing to do because I was all caught up with my work???
Oh well... someday I may just learn this lesson. Until then... I have stuff to do and can look forward to being busy.
Yep that's right $.02.
A whole two cents is what I made while shopping. I needed to get a new shirt. I found one I liked, waited for it to go on sale and was about to buy it...
Michie found out and told me to hold up. She sent me a link and I followed it and went shopping. I still got my shirt on sale but I also got myself $.02. I hope that this continues as I really like to shop with this one store and several others that are also involved with this program.
Today it's two cents. Next month it could be a whole lot more.
